Incorporated in the state of Maryland in 2004, the Olney Big Band is a 503 [c] 3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization of big band music lovers, including artists, teachers, arrangers and fans. The band plays for dances, concerts, fundraisers, weddings, parties, etc. and has appeared at The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Blues Alley in DC, the Strathmore Music Center to name a few.   On most weekends I can be found somewhere in Northern Virginia. I love playing solo piano and in small combo situations. I find great joy in making events memorable in a way only live music can.
  
  Find me most often at V2 in Winchester or Lightfoot Restaurant in Leesburg. I have played at most of the hotels in DC, and at almost every country club in Loudoun County. I recently lead a jazz concert series at the Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville, VA.
