Initially built in 1921, the newly renovated sanctuary maintains all its original charm. This historic temple served as a sanctuary, religious school, and gathering center for the local Jewish community from 1922-1949. It was later used as a church by both Chinese-speaking and Spanish-speaking Baptist congregations. In 2001, the Arizona Jewish Historical Society rescued this sacred space from destruction as a testament to the value of our community and its history. We have restored the temple and annex to their original condition.
The facility is available for all faiths, and can be used for functions including weddings, receptions, fundraisers, presentations and private meetings. All setups are customized to meet the needs of your group. Conveniently located near freeways, lodging, and just minutes from downtown Phoenix and its amenities.
