Lindsay has a unique photography style created from a blending of photojournalism, illustrative and candid styles. With an eye for the unusual and a natural flare for creativity her photography takes a new approach to the traditional, breathing life into the images she captures.
Her photographs convey a sense of life and reflect the personality of the subject. For Lindsay, good photography means capturing mood, expression and emotion through the lens and portraying them with artistic vision.
When working with clients, from weddings to newborn portraits, Lindsay’s relaxed style of shooting allows her to capture images that are spontaneous and real. Her work is the result of a collaborative effort - she gives you some direction and then lets the rest naturally fall into place. It's this “natural†feeling captured in her photography that makes the images so unique and fresh.
Lindsay feels it is important to empathize with the life changing moment being experienced by her clients. Each photo shoot or event takes her back to those moments in her own life. Because of this she always moves at the clients pace, considering all of the elements involved, making each booking relaxing, enjoyable and memorable. She feels that her clients need to be comfortable with and confident in her in order to be themselves. She helps them reach that point with her and is then able to capture their personalities in every shot, making the experience and the photographs they receive equally great.
Lindsay’s clients often become her clients for life. This is not only because of the results that she delivers but also because of the experience she provides. She enjoys building these relationships with her clients and feels privileged to be a part of these most important moments in their lives.
