Serve Up a Signature Summer Drink

This recipe for Peach-Riesling Sangria combines peach schnapps and riesling. If you're not familiar with reisling, it is one of the sweeter white wines. Peach-Riesling Sangria
Ingredients:
- 750-ml bottle dry or sweet Riesling
- 1 1/2 c. white cranberry-peach juice
- 1/2 c. peach schnapps
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- lemon slices, sliced to 2 1/2 inch thickness
- orange slices, sliced to 2 1/2 inch thickness
- 2 peaches, cut into wedges
- 10 fresh raspberries
- 3 c. ice cubes
Directions:
Mix Riesling, cranberry-peach juice, peach schnapps, sugar, and lemon juice in large pitcher. Next, carefully scrape the seeds from vanilla bean. Add the vanilla bean and stir to blend. Mix in the fruit. Cover and chill overnight, or for at least a few hours. Mix in ice, serve, and enjoy!
Another awesome thing about sangria is that you can make a pitcher of it to serve at a party, such as a bridal shower, cookout, or housewarming. Or, you can make a pitcher for yourself and enjoy a glass with dinner.
