March Madness Party Tips

Want to throw a March Madness party, but not that sure how to get started? You've come to the right place--I've got your March Madness party planning game plan all ready.
The first step is to kick off your party planning by using one of the free online invitations at Punchbowl to invite friends and family to your March Madness party.
Here's a slam dunk invitation that gets you ready for the "Big Dance" as they call it:

Now as for food and drink ideas, I suggest serving food that's specific to your favorite team's region.
Let's say you're rooting for UNC this season (a good choice, I'd wager). The obvious food choice here is BBQ, baby!
If you don't have the time to spend slaving way in the kitchen before your party, check out this Cheater's North Carolina Barbecue Recipe
Let's say that, like Charlie and me, you happen to be a big UConn fan (Go Huskies!).
While Connecticut isn't known for it's rich culinary traditions, a safe bet is to stick to the Connecticut coastline and serve up some grilled or baked seafood at your March Madness party.
As far as drinks go, I'll go ahead and make the obvious suggestion: keep it simple and buy a variety of beer.
With all of the TV-watching that'll be going on at your party, you won't have lots of extra time to blend up margaritas or shake cocktails, so make your hosting experience easier by offering some good old bottles and cans.
Entertainment wise, I think it's safe to say that turning your television to the game of the moment is the fastest way to entertain your March Madness party guests!
Enjoy Planning.
