Before you even think about games, be sure to send Halloween party invitations online to get guests excited about your event and share important details. Customize your favorite invitation, send by text or email, and easily gather RSVPs in minutes.

Once you've sent out your invitations, decide on a few Halloween games for kids or activities that you think will compliment the party. Here are a few ideas:

  • Witch Hat Ring Toss: Purchase styrofoam cones and cut out a few circles from cardboard boxes. Paint these items black and let them dry. Glue the cone to your circle and once it's dry, decorate with ribbons or Halloween stickers. Cut out the middle of paper plates and use the plate rims as rings! Have kids toss the rings onto the hats.
  • Bobbing for Apples: Apple bobbing is a fun Halloween party game for kids as well as a classic fall and Halloween activity that is entertaining for all ages. Fill a large kiddie pool or bucket with warm water and crisp apples. Tie each participant's hands behind their back with a handkerchief and let the fun begin!
  • Mystery Jar Guessing Game: Fill a glass jar full of either candy corns or Halloween candy and let your guests try to guess how many pieces are in the jar. The one who guesses closest gets to take the jar home with them as a prize!
  • Pumpkin Bowling: Pumpkin bowling is another fun Halloween party game for kids or adults. Set up plastic bowling pins or empty plastic bottles filled halfway with water. Use a small to medium-sized pumpkin as the bowling ball. Have prizes like Halloween-inspired toys or candy bags for whoever can knock down the most pins.
  • Witch Candy Hunt: A witch hunt is a great game to play if you’re hosting a party for children. Fill small Halloween bags with candy. Place pictures of witches on each bag and hide them either around your house or in your back yard. Then, have the kids search for the “witches” and let them take the goody bags home as a Halloween treat.
  • Pumpkin BINGO: This is a great Halloween party game for kids because it is easy to play and fun. Make your bingo game spooktacular by using pumpkin tokens instead of bingo chips and ghost shaped bingo cards. Have a prize bag full of Halloween candy and toys ready for the winners to make a selection.
  • Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin: Pin the nose on the pumpkin is an easy Halloween game for toddlers to play. To setup the game start by making an adorable pumpkin banner with black and orange felt. Have the kids “pin” the nose on the jack-o-lantern after a few blindfolded spins. The closest to the actual nose wins!.
  • Monster Musical Chairs: Musical chairs is an easy Halloween game for kids because all you need is chairs and some fun Halloween music. Have a playlist ready with Halloween songs and let everyone dance around the chairs. When the music stops everyone has to sit down as fast as they can. The child that doesn’t get a chair is eliminated. Each round another chair is taken away until only one child is left sitting.
All of these games will make your party exciting, memorable and fun for guests - big or small!
