  • Christmas Tree Cupcakes: Bake a traditional chocolate or vanilla Christmas cupcake recipe and add some charm with a Christmas tree decoration. Gather your supplies, which include one box of chocolate cake mix (along with the required items on the box), six cups of green icing, cupcake liners with Christmas theme, sugar cookie dough, star cookie cutter, red and white star sprinkles, a pastry bag and star decorating tip and white edible glitter. Start by making the star cookies a day before you plan to make the cupcakes. Plan one star for each cupcake. Make the cupcakes according to the directions on the box; or use your own cupcake recipe. Put the green icing into the pastry bag, place the star tip on top, and ice the cupcakes with green icing. Frost the outside edges first, and then use a circular motion, to work your way inwards. Apply the frosting in a cone shape to look like a Christmas tree. Sprinkle the star sprinkles and edible glitter over the cupcake. Add the star cookie to complete your Christmas theme cupcakes.

  • Reindeer Cupcakes: Make delicious cupcakes and decorate them with fun reindeer designs on top. Visit your local store, and purchase supplies such as chocolate cake mix and the required ingredients to make the batter, at least 240 pieces of chocolate melts, 24 maraschino cherries, 48 chocolate chips, four cups of chocolate frosting, ½ cup of white frosting, pretzels in a traditional pretzel shape and two pastry bags with a large round cake decorating tip. Bake the cupcakes with your own Christmas cupcake recipe, or make the cupcakes according to the package instructions. For the second step, take the pretzels, and break off pieces to resemble antlers. Next, set aside 24 chocolate melt pieces. Melt the remaining chocolate pieces according to the package directions. Put the melted chocolate in a pastry bag, or a plastic bag with the tip of the corner cut out. Drizzle the chocolate over the pretzel antlers. Frost the cupcakes with chocolate frosting, and then place the pretzel antlers in place. Divide the 24 remaining chocolate melts in half to create the reindeer ears. Place the half pieces into the cupcakes, directly below the pretzel antlers, to make the ears. Place red cherry maraschinos in the center of the cupcakes for the reindeers’ noses. Place spots of white frosting above the nose for the eyes. Put an upside down chocolate chip in the center of each white dot to create the rest of the eye. Organize the cupcakes on a tray, and give them each reindeer names, such as Dancer and Prancer.

  • Snowman Cupcakes: Make easy and delicious snowman cupcakes to put a smile on the faces of the little kids. Gather your supplies, which include chocolate or vanilla cupcake mix, white vanilla frosting, Junior Mints, chocolate sprinkles, orange gummy fish and marshmallows. Make the cupcakes, and set them aside to cool. Once cool, frost the cupcakes with white frosting. Place one large marshmallow on each frosted cupcake to make the lower half of the snowman’s body. Take additional marshmallows, and cut a piece off of the bottom, and squish it in your hand to make it smaller in size. Use white frosting to adhere the smaller marshmallow on top of the larger marshmallow, to create the snowman’s head. Push two chocolate sprinkles into the marshmallow head to create the eyes. Use a sliver of orange gummy fish for the nose. Put a drop of white frosting on the top of the snowman’s head and stick a Junior Mint to it for the hat.
